How does the Biomat Work
The Biomat is an all in one wellness device used not just to gently increase and maintain health, but also to treat muscle spasm and joint pain and stiffness. It utilizes a unique Far Infra Red delivery system, by routing the infra red rays through layers of crushed natural amethyst crystal, it increases the healing ability of the infra red light
and generates a multitude of unique frequencies and vibrations. The infrared itself, unlike a regular heating pad that heats from the outside in, far infra red light penetrates your body to provide the therapeutic heat to deep tissues, increasing the metabolism of your organs and improving blood flow. The biomat works best to treat the following:

To use the biomat, the patient simply lies on top of it, and the therapist sets the time and temperature range. A session may last anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the condition being treated. The cost to use the biomat is $150TT.

Can I be burned using this Mat?
The machine would be set well below the temperature that could cause a burn, and since it uses infra red light, rather than heat, there is almost a 0% chance of being burned.
How long would it take to see results?
Everyone is different, some patients report feeling less stressed after the first session, others may take up to 5 sessions to feel any noticeable change.
Are there any Side Effects?
With the increased blood flow, you may find that an injured limb may feel “full” or
“tighter”, but that is temporary and is perfectly fine.
Do I need to prepare in any special way to have this treatment?
We ask that you be hydrated before taking the therapy as you may sweat a bit with the heat. Also if you desire, a change of clothes depending on how much a person sweats.
